I suppose it makes me unique then. At least for this one poll.

NO, Jbuck. Just for this type of poll. As I mentioned if a poll like this was numbered, coin shows would possibly have numerous votes too.

Quote:
Carl - that's an interesting point. I could have easily accomplished that by listing numbers next to each answer and asked respondents to list (if they so wish) their favorite few in order... Thanky! =)

There have been many such polls here that give out not eroneous results but what I consider fuzzy results. By that I mean not completely accurate. However, the original post was sort of asking for BEST DEALS, not a list in order of where and/or how you get those.
Sort of like asking which wife do you like the best. And it should really be please place in order which ones you like the best.

Over the last 10 years or so, a lot of my acquisitions have come from regular postal auctions, conducted by Australia's largest coin business.

I basically look every where. Although, admittingly I have never tried a garage sale or flea market. I have had some luck on Teletrade in the past but it seems like that is getting harder and harder. Some of the "seized property" auctions appear to be worthwhile.

I'm always looking, but I know I will do best at Live Auctions, especially the coin specific ones. I just need to be patient.

Flea market vendors who like to trade or don't know what they have.
