Looks like an 'S' to me, hopefully that's the coin they send you and the picture turns out not to be a 'stock' photo. If you get a 12-S, you got a big score, even a 12-D you break even.

Might well be an S. Many people are not aware that there are mint marks on some of those. Most people think back then all were just without a mint mark. Hopefully that is the case with yours.

there is definitely something there and it sure looks like an S. I can't say with 100% surety but I think you may have gotten lucky on this one

I recently picked up a 1912d that looked like an "s",
but it was a "d" with a little wave on it. Yours surely looks like an "s".
Just hope that's the one he sends you.

The pic sure had me fooled.

Oh well, I didn't deserve an S mint at that price anyway! Back to the hunt...
