Come on. "Big government conservatism?!" Thats an oxymoron if I've ever heard one! lol
No big surpise here and I'm not shocked that A. Napolitano would be the one reporting this. The guy is a Constitutional genius.

"Andrew Napolitano, FOX News" Well, that's sure a legitimate news source...

Yes, it is. Unlike the leftist pap spewed out via CNN and CNBC.

Too bad Freedom Watch was cancelled. I realize we all have different view but it seems his show was very accurate

I agree, Angel. Maybe that was the problem. The Judge was just TOO accurate with his comments and some higher-ups got a phone call to shut it down before that kind of thinking spreads. Can't have those sheeple thinking, now, can we? Unfortunately for those who would shut Napolitano and others like him, the Internet is still a viable place where thoughts can be shared with others, whether they are "approved" ideas or not. Maybe that is why they keep trying things like SOPA and PIPA and any other kinds of skullduggerous Internet manipulation and control that can be thought up?

Yes pretty frightening and the worst part with the internet is that things can be changed/deleted with keystrokes. We are losing much actual paper written knowledge. No more printed encyclopedias is a good example. Also some novels are in the process of trying to be reworded to make them politically correct. What happens when we become a completely digital culture. Anything can be changed or taken. I read an article on death and being totally digital. Who will know what you really have with no mai or written documents.

Yes, indeed. Digital chicanery is FAR easier than is manipulating hard copy printouts. Still, I really do like the format of digital books. It's nice to be able to have a large library on a few DVDs, for example. As to editing books to make them more PC... Oh, HECK NO! Information like that tells us a great deal about the times in which such things were written. If we are too thin-skinned to survive reading such things, perhaps we are too thin-skinned to survive, period. All of this PC nonsense is highly over-rated and PC = attempted mind control, IMHO. I had to laugh when once I read an interview with the gentleman who was running Singapore at the time. The reporter accused him of not being politically correct. He replied that he did not care to be politically correct, only correct.

I think sooner than later all those books I read in high school. Gave me a creepy feeling reading Brave New World 1984 F 451 and Animal farm to name a few thinking they would never come to be. Now pretty much reality and frightening to me

Perhaps the truly frightening part is that those books are starting to look pretty tame compared to todays' reality.

Yes. I know I guess reality is worse than reading. Did you hear who J Napalitano may be a pick for VP running mate?

Quote: Did you hear who J Napalitano may be a pick for VP running mate? I heard Ron Paul mention his name as a possible running mate on TV the other day. Much as I like Ron Paul, I don't think that he will ever become President. Rand Paul, on the other hand, looks very good as a presidential candidate in about 8 years. A Rand Paul and Marco Rubio ticket would be very interesting.
