It's not in the best of condition, but these coins don't show up very often. Coin is better in hand and most of the legend is visible, enough to ID the coin as: FL DALMATIVS NOB C / GLORIA EXERCITVS / SMTSB. RIC Thessalonica 227. The style does not really look like my 227 but mine is the relatively common (R3) E. http://www.forumancientcoins.com/do.../delmat.html It is a question we all have to ask: How bad is too bad? Actually I have a Delmatius worse than yours in my cleaning survivors which I am unable to sell because I am unwilling to accept PayPal and more than one potential buyer has no checking account. We seem to be in a generation gap here. Coins worth less than postage and fees will always be a problem. Report this Post to the Staff
