Back then split grades on coins was pretty common particularly on MS coins, one grade for the obverse and one for the reverse if both didn't grade the same. I'm not seeing that now. wquinn Pillar of the Community United States 2295 Posts	Posted 02/21/2012 11:11 am I don't think any TPGs do that and I don't see dealers advertising it either, so I think it has gone away. Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 02/21/2012 12:48 pm yeah the Obverse carries most of the weight so if the Reverse looks better than the Obverse they will usually go by what the Obverse grades unless the Reverse is spectacular. If the Obverse is better than the Reverse I believe the Obverse carries about 80% of the grade Report this Post to the Staff
