I always ask if they have any large dollar coins too, but that's always a long shot...there are a set of old guys that come in every other day at my bank asking for the same thing. I feel a lot of times collectors get caught up in the finances or competitiveness of coin collecting and forget about the true joy of finding something unique and taking care of that item till you are ready to pass it on to the next caregiver. I find very few things more appealing than spending a few hours searching through a big pile of coins. In my very humble opinion, that is what it is all about, the joy! Report this Post to the Staff
