echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 02/24/2012 09:45 am Interesting piece. The only Cape Cod that I know of is in Massachusetts. I lived on Cape Cod for more than twenty five years. The town I lived in was established in 1639 and was a colony of England. I've never seem a piece like this there, my guess is that someone found this piece on the Cape and stamped it. As far as the coin is concerned, I've never seen or heard of one before. Judging by the unevenness It looks like the letters were stamped individually on the coin. Did you find the coin in Greece?
