Interesting piece. The only Cape Cod that I know of is in Massachusetts. I lived on Cape Cod for more than twenty five years. The town I lived in was established in 1639 and was a colony of England. I've never seem a piece like this there, my guess is that someone found this piece on the Cape and stamped it.

Funny, I'm going to a great coin shop in Falmouth (on Cape Cod) today.

As far as the coin is concerned, I've never seen or heard of one before. Judging by the unevenness It looks like the letters were stamped individually on the coin. Did you find the coin in Greece?

Snowman, That is an excellent shop he bought my MS collection of Morgans and a number of my Byzantine trachy prior to my move to WA state.

I agree. He's a good seller with fair prices. Also, it's one of the few shops in the state that has a selection of world coins.
