I would like some advice on this coin. I have seen descriptions about "water line" or "no water line". What does this mean?

And can anyone give me an idea of this coin - value, condition?

Thanks,
Carl

The coin seems to be in nice MS condition and maybe its ARN.

The water lines that were described are in front of the canoe
FWL - at least 1 of the 3 or 4 lines touches the canoe
SWL - No lines touches the canoe
ARN - No line touch the canoe, but one and half lines are present
NWL - No waterlines

There are 12 varieties of the 1952 dollar and if you include JOP counterstamped 1952, there are 14 varieties. Of the 12 varieties, ARN is the most expensive. On Charton guide, MS-63 ARN is $500.
