According to Numismedia, the only 1853 Half that did not have Arrows & Rays was made in New Orleans.

...unless it is one the ones that got away, but I doubt it.

Kinda funnt that the sellers mentions that "arrows are visible" in the description.

Here are the pix, doubled in size:
1853-P-No-Arrows-And-Rays-Half?

1853-P-No-Arrows-And-Rays-Half?

Notice that the areas where the arrows and rays were have been smoothed in the pix (not the coin itself), also the bottom of the shield, mm, etc. Other areas, like around the stars, are pixelated from enlarging, but still different shades in small increments.
Rest in Peace

Nope.

The weird thing is, it appears he doctored a pix of a 53O A&R. Why remove the O?

I think you are looking at the wrong place. To me it looks like an altered 58.

Hmmm, listing is now unavailable. Guess the bay did some cleaning of its own.
