Constantius-Gallus---Fallen-Horseman

Constantius Gallus, Cyzicus. AE3. D N FL CL CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES, bare-headed, draped, cuirassed bust right. / Rev: FEL TEMP-REPARATIO, soldier standing left, spearing fallen horseman who has no beard, wears Phrygian helmet, reaching backwards. Mintmark SMK Delta. RIC VIII Cyzikus 106

Here is the second coin that I received. This one looks like it has a spec of green. Once again, it isn't powdery. This is also my first Constantius Gallus coin.

Wow that's a beauty! I love how the desert patina brings out the lettering and the features. For some reason I have always had a very hard time finding FEL TEMP coins that are in decent shape. They always seem to be damaged or missing part of the coin off the flan. This is the best example I have seen in some time. Lucky you!

Thanks guys. The color looks quite a bit different than the seller's photo. Although, I still like it and I expected the coin to look different.

Yeah, most coins look a little different from the sellers' pics. In my case, usually the coins are darker in hand. Your coin and it's seller's pics reminds me of my Constantinopolis city commem minted in Alexandria. The orange toning was stronger in the photo and when I got it, it was actually duller (I think it's from the same seller as your Constantius I if I recall), but I still very much like the coin.

Wow big difference in color from lime green to brown. Its still a nice coin but there is a huge difference in the color I think its the lighting they use.
