Anybody Use A Table Easel? - Coin Community Forum

oih82w8 Pillar of the Community United States 7840 Posts	Posted 02/28/2012 7:56 pm I have not been able to "fine tune" the Jansjos with the overhead shot, so I am going to try a "different angle". I have seen some guys images on ebay that have their fingers in the image (whatever works?) to capture the right angle of luster on some of the coins. So I thought that I would try a table top adjustable easle. oih82w8 Pillar of the Community United States 7840 Posts	Posted 02/29/2012 9:35 pm Not when the camera is at a complementing angle to take advantage of the background lighting...I will try to explain. Let's say that the easel is at 45 degress (1:30 o'clock) and the camera is positoned at 315 degrees (10:30 o'clock) they will be inline with one another, and take advantage of indirect lighting from above and behind, sort of like photo studios that do portriats with difused lighting. There may be those that say that I am wrong (again), but I need to prove to mself, especially since I have not been able to follow simple directions from the CCF members on setting up my Jansjo lamps.
