I bought this 1754 Mo MF 8 reales, even though it may be a forgery...as I collect contemporary counterfeits...copper seems to be bleeding through, and, the dies on reverse are very rough, which may, or may not be an indicator...I was going to send it off for xray analysis in 2 weeks, and, that will explain the metal aspect, and we'll get a final answer...in the meantime, I thought I would post this here, and get your thoughts...weighs in at 26.87 grams...measures 1-9/16th inches(39.68mm), and, the rim is worn a bit, and, it may be tough to determine overlap spots.
