So the FOOLS, are going back to try an borrow 4.68 billion more dollars a report just released today....
They borrowed 16 more last year alone, and 7 the year before, since the big Fed merger back in like 2008/09....
What's that mean, we pay to keep them in business. Ticks me off to high heaven, I wish the GOV would just let them collapse....
One more brick yanked from an unstable foundation, which in my mind will just add to the PM climb in the long-term, any thoughts?
Economic revory eh? Once you look through the fudged un-emp numbers, realize all this debt is coming back on us while the printers are runnin 24/7, perhaps the main stream shepal are taking notice things are not recovering as fast as the press an gov have been trying to claim, and we have a long way to go to get back out of the woods still yet....

Heh. Maybe 4.68 billion is now just a rounding error in their minds, you think?
Just another reason to stay bullish on PM and consider any rise in "confidence" to be a buying opportunity.

Fannie and Freddie are both so poorly run that only government considers them a success. On the other hand, perhaps they do have a mission in life. If so, then it is likely to be that they are making even the post office look good.

Lol, don't even get me started on the post office Ed, they are planning to lay off 350 thousand some time this summer an hope no one notices....
Side note, I am in the middle of Tornado alley, and everything THUS FAR, has split north or South of Lenoir city, and just got another warning about a touchdown not fat from me in Loudon an Blount county, via anywhere from 10 to 15 miles from my current location.....
Perhaps I should have posted this in the 2012 thread, lol....

Fannie and Freddie wish they were the USPS. The USPS would be in much better financial shape if it weren't being punished by congress for it's past financial success. If it weren't for those insane $5.5 billion dollar annual payments to cover *future* employee health care benefits they'd be showing today over a billion a year in profits. I'd be no different than you or me being required to pay a *lifetimes worth of Social security and Medicare payments* in advance and do it over only 10 years. Even the most profitable company would find this a crazy difficult burden to overcome.

Great call CW, and it is like why start a bus over here, when our gov does everything possible to keep you down. After they bankrupt the USPS (which would be one of the worst and most STUPID political blunder in my short life), I guess they figure they can lease UPS or Fed Ex to carry all the mail, lol....

Of course we would notice! Just think of all that homeless junkmail floating about the universe with nowhere to go! Quote: Can't believe I'm really gonna post this... Fannie and Freddie wish they were the USPS. Ah, a USPO employee perhaps? Seems to me that if the USPO is facing an unrealistic business model, it is up to the Postmaster General to get off his chair and make the case before congress. If he isn't or he can't, then someone else should be doing that job and making the case for some changes that CAN be lived with.
