Yep, those are magnetic "nesting coins."

The time he picks one up from the guy on the left, he nests them and already has one palmed in his other hand. And when one "disappears" it's the two halves of the nesters snapping together. :-)

The glass is a sliding pane (note the table is circular), and he was hiding the hole with his other hand. Perhaps some of the people behind him were plants who helped move the glass? :-)

However, he's quite the showman. My hat is off to him. :-)
