Alterations noted, RenaL. Still open.

Received again. Keep 'em coming, folks. There's one or two coins left there that are still tripping people up.

Another update sent. Hoping this will help the cause. So, what is the prize for this contest anyhow? lol. I never even thought to ask cause it is just fun to look them up and try to figure them out.

One more obvious update that I should have caught a long time ago.

E-mails received and... nope. Contest still open. Umm, RenaL, your latest list appears identical to the previous list... is that what you meant to send? If it's different, you'll have to spell it out to me, because it looks the same to me.

Another correction is in. Do you need me to resend the whole list?

Nope. Just the alterations or corrections are fine. Easier for me to keep track of that way. Still open. Several posts ago, Irish asked what was in the prize box. Partly that depends on what happens at my coin club tonight... they're having a tender sale and I have some items up for sale there (I submitted the list back in December). If they don't sell, some of those items are going in the prize box, too. I might also end up buying some duplicates in bulk lots, which would also become available. But for now, here's what it contains: - a specimen of coin #4 - a nice set of Netherlands Antilles, 1¢ to 25¢, dated 1975/6 in EF-aUnc - a pretty beat-up bronze 1 real from Buenos Aires province, Argentina, 1840 - New Caledonia 1 franc, 2 francs (1949) and 20 francs (1970) in about EF-aUnc grades - Papua New Guinea 2 toea in EF - Syria (French protectorate) silver 10 piastres 1929 in Fine * if a non-Aussie wins, a small selection of circulating commemorative coins from Down Under (I figured Aussies would already have most of 'em) * if an Aussie wins, there's a small selection of Canadian coins to go in. For the ones marked with *, the winner is free to designate which ones you'd prefer (or both, since I'm making y'all work so hard for them... )

Update(s) for markn noted. Also received a clarifying e-mail from RenaL. Only one and a half days to go, folks. I'm surprised we're getting this close to full time, especially given the high quality of answers received to date... the winning post in SDC1 was made after only nine hours. I knew SDC2 was tougher, but I didn't think it was that much tougher!
