Reading the paper today & I noticed a coloured version of our beloved Coat of Arms (COA) 50 cent piece...

It's obviously not really the coloured coin that we're all waiting far to patiently to un-veiled, but it's amazing how small these little northern corroboree forgs are. There are less than 1000 of them left in the wild & at that size I can surely see why.
Maybe this should be the subject of the next commemorative coin...then again we all love the Bundy 'Drop' Bear.
