I just received my "zinc" Lincoln for my 7070, and the PCGS published grade info does not match the slab. Would this just be an oversight, or is it a fake slab?

I think that is probably just either a clerical error or maybe PCGS has changed what they call the SF Lincoln Cents from MS to the SP destinations through out the years. I am not sure but I don't think it is a fake slab. Maybe some of the Lincoln Cent collectors or maybe even Condor will know if this is the case, but even if not it is still probably just a clerical error and not anything to be worried about

Why would someone go through the effort of faking a slab for a $5 coin? 2005 was the first year for the satin finish Mint Set coins, it makes perfect sense that it took a bit of time to hammer out the nomenclature.

Bio, that is about what I paid for it too (plus shipping). Where does PCGS come up with their values (PCGS Price GuideSM Value: $34)?

I believe that NGC uses Numismedia values.

PCGS uses "Pie In The Sky" values - they're the most consistent. Consistently ridiculous, that is.
