PCGS - Published Grade Info Does Not Match Slab - Is It Fake

Would this just be an oversight, or is it a fake slab? Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 03/05/2012 2:20 pm I think that is probably just either a clerical error or maybe PCGS has changed what they call the SF Lincoln Cents from MS to the SP destinations through out the years. I am not sure but I don't think it is a fake slab. Maybe some of the Lincoln Cent collectors or maybe even Condor will know if this is the case, but even if not it is still probably just a clerical error and not anything to be worried about Report this Post to the Staff
biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 03/05/2012 3:26 pm Why would someone go through the effort of faking a slab for a $5 coin? 2005 was the first year for the satin finish Mint Set coins, it makes perfect sense that it took a bit of time to hammer out the nomenclature.
