When you click it, a window opens with a link in it. You copy/paste that link into a post you're making in another thread, and when the reader clicks your link, they're brought to the exact post you're talking about. In practice, you pretty much have to have two instances of Coin Community open in your browser, to avoid a whole bunch of clicks while doing this.

It's a useful tool when you want to call someone's attention to a specific post that's 3 pages deep in a long thread.

Ok I got that part. How do you put 'click here', or 'Go here' instead of it showing the complete link as in above?

I have an easy cheat though.

Click on the Get-A-Link-To-This-..... icon.

Type the clickable text you want in the box.

Click OK.

Hit the delete key to wipe out the mailto:.

Paste in the url.

Click OK.

Done.
