Not sure what happened to my first post. I posted a 2011 niclkel that appears to have an extra branch, well, here is a better pic of it with a hope its better.

That does look unique.
Look at the circled area of your coin..Is that part of grease that caused that...COULD THE EXTRA LOG BE PART OF IT.

I am by NO means an expert, but if that isn't what caused it, then you have a nice find..Maybe someone who knows more than me can help further....SEE BELOW

Not sure wert. I too am no expert but I havent noticed that part of the coin since I was so focused on that one place only. I wish someone that has more knowledge then us confirm what this is. I'm may have to take some more shots with less lighting and see how that shows.
