Got my new lights, hoping this will help with my pics. Superdave said that there would be a learning curve; he was right. Anyway, here are some of my first attempts. Any thoughts?

Coin photos look good, but I hate colorful backgrounds. A dark gray is best IMO, black is second. It's nice to make the background a single gray color, perhaps 50,50,50 or 75,75,75. This makes a single "spike" in the histogram that belies future processing. It would also be nice to see the pics a bit bigger. But from lighting perspective, they look pretty good. Is the coin color coming out right? Only you can tell us that since we can't compare with actual coin...Ray
