Ouch! Get thee some VC. Larger images would help but yeah it's going to be the the G6/8 range Max F10. Still a valuable piece not to be taken lightly.

VG10 and in need of some TLC. Are you familiar with copper conservation?

I would soak it in acetone overnight asap. Verdi-Care is a good product and your coin needs it soon, before further damage from verdigris sets in.

VG-F, hard to tell from the pics. It does appear genuine.

You definately need to do something about the corrosion. I don't think NCS would accept the job because it looks quite thick and has probably pitted the surface. The cost might be prohibitive too unless the coin has sentimental value. The easiest thing to do is to rinse it with acetone and put it into an airtite. I would at least do that ASAP. This is a tough, key-date coin, attempting any sort of conservation should be approached with experience and caution. I've seen a lot of people completely ruin coins like this. Personally, I'd rather have it with the corrosion than improperly cleaned.

I'll try the acetone soak, how about your Verdicare or is that best left to someone experienced with it?

This is a rare and valuable coin. You definately don't want to do anything wrong. Conservation is best left to someone experienced.
