It's a big step up to buy the $2 "Battleship" note in a similar condition, but it ranks as one of the best reverses on any US issue and one that I never tire of looking at.  |

Depends on how broad a net you want to cast. If you enter, say, "US Large Size Paper Money" you'll get a landslide of listings. If you narrow it down to, say, "US $10 Large Size Federal Reserve Bank Notes" you'll get a smaller subset. Best to enter US, large or small size, type of note (Federal Reserve, Gold Certificate, Silver Certificate, etc.) and denomination. Just play around with it - it's easy.

Coinfrog, I think you just turned me into at least a part-time currency collector! I really need to get me one of those! I believe that's a New York-class battleship, correct? I thought it might be a Wyoming-Class but it's one gun turret short for that. |

A few more on route to me as we speak... the postman is slow but I wait to see how they turn out... the first couple from over that side...sellers photos.    This one from my side of the pond...a few bids went in at last moment and I got it for £1 less than my max bid (which I put in 20 secs before the end)  Its all coming together slowly... though some of your notes have whetted my appetite to possibly widen the collecting area after I get done with these fractionals. |
