Here is a favorite! It's in a CGA holder, but the embossing and paper wave are clear to the unaided eye.

I have a number of nice CGA notes. Most rag pickers agree that their numerical grades are a point too high (sometimes more) compared with PCGS and PMG, but I will buy them if the quality is clearly evident in the holder and the price is right.

PS - I don't have a Chief star note, but they are really something to behold!

Can you tell I like errors? Got this one cheap and it's a very recent series -- Don't see errors too often on the newer notes.

Got the scarce Woods/Tate $1 in today. Fixed the folds and got a nice scan of it -- The note defintely looks better than the seller's photos portrayed. Seller's photo: My scan:

Nice Woods/Tate note, WheatBack! It's an amazing difference in what lighting and unfolding the note has made in appearance.

The error note is fantastic. I would say it certainly does look better!

I really like this note, purchased at FUN in January. It's also in a CGA holder (old style), but if it's overgraded, it's by no more than a point - the centering and register are virtually perfect, although the angled photos distort this. And the embossing is so strong and bright that you can even see it coming through from the front on either side of the ship in the picture below (in the open sky). Hope you like it.

Frog, truly amazing, you are hoarding some of the nicest Large Size I have seen, congrats! If you were going to submit raw notes for grading, which is the preferred TPG for such?
