I think I am going to fight the urge of adding to my collection and pick up a decent digi cam. These Iphone pictures dont do them justice.

Mr. Loony, never fear about buying low grade Victorian/Edwardian coinage, the demand is sooo high for 'em, you'll always get you money back and then sum$ at the end Game! Glenn

50 cent pieces/halves are my favorite. I wonder if I was bidding on those! In my collection I have just started looking at purchase everything within reasonable cost, below the 1900's as I have completed the 1900 and above. Like you loonietoon, I am trying to get one for every year, no matter what the grade.

I was pleased! I have a decent collection of 50c pieces coming along. I have 68-86, the ones posted here, and a hand full from the 40s. After 86 they are alot harder to come by. I keep asking the banks and take whatever they got and all I have got is one 97 and $50 worth of duplicates. I am hoping through this forum I might come across some roll hoarders that might be able to help me fill the holes from 86-now. Buying one coin at a time from ebay is not worth it. I built a mega order on jandm but was too scared to pull the trigger. So If you have any 50c from 86 to now let me know and maybe we can work out a trade or something. This forum is awesome I should have joined months ago instead of just anonymously lurking. Thanks for all the help and feedback!

Nice buys loonie! 50¢ pieces are awesome, not too big, not too small, just perfect. They're like the lukewarm porridge and mildly uncomfortable bed from Goldilocks.

Nice coins! Can't make the difference in the picture but is the 1910 a Edwardian leaves or Victorian leaves?

I didnt realize the 1910 el and vl are different weights. I wish I had a scale that went to the second decimal so I would know for sure.
