Don't know how to grade these, but from the pictures, there seems to be some evidence of radial metal flow in at least two places on each side, near the edge.

To my way of thinking that would make it less than a top quality coin, for a proof, in terms of it's manufacture.

Maybe it is your angle, but the bust and other other raised surfaces should be frosted/dull to be deemed a CAMEO. Kennedy is to shiny for a cameo, in my opinion. Besides I would get it under cover as soon as possible!

This is what a 1964 Kennedy Cameo should look like;

I agree this isn't a cameo coin, just a plain Proof coin. as far as grade it may be a PR-63 or maybe PR-64, hard to tell from the photos

Would it be worth to get it graded and slabbed?

No, I would not slab this one, it's not worth the expense...it's about a $20 coin. Now I may bid on it if it was already slabbed by one of the TOP III TPGers.

Well, I mean I plan on keeping it for another 40 years or so.. I'm 16. So maybe slabbing it wouldn't be to bad of an idea? I don't know just wondering.
Rest in Peace

Lots has changed in 40 years. No sense slobbing it now, just to have to do it again in 40 years.

You could probably put it in an airtite holder and that should offer it sufficient protection. This coin would probably have to be a slam dunk PR-70 to make it worth the cost of getting it certified. I would guess the coin is around a PR-63 or 64.
