hi, I bought this coin today at an antique shop. the guy didnt know anything about it except that he thought it was austrian.
after researching and translating all the writing on the coin it appears to be dedicated to a hungarian warload. the writing is the name of the victorious general and that whatever the building on the back is will always be his home. the year is 1993 . IX. 4.
i suspect this coin to be a commemorative and not actual currency.
the coin is about the exact diameter of a morgan but twice as think.
i do not own an accurate scale but it is more than 1 oz but just under 1.5 oz.
the reason I bought the coin is that it appears to be silver. it is very white in color. I would love to know if its silver or not.
there is small writing on the front that says "BOZO" in small letters over a small shield?
on the edge of the coin there is only one small spot stamped with very tiny writing "FFM"
