Not very much I'm afraid -- $10 to $20 is the typical range. A pair of them just sold on ebay for $10.

interesting imagery: putting the tank below the aircraft-carrier - I never realized that the Abrams was so versatile.
Wouldn't veterans have all been entitled to the service, campaign, and other medals (with ribbands) awarded by the Defence authorities ? What purpose did this medallion serve ?

They were sold by the U.S. Mint;

I thought that the proceeds were to go to some foundation.

I used to have one of these...lost it in one of my many military moves over the years.

from the information that I found they were sold to help fund the silver medals. I may be wrong
