They're two popular brands of albums for storing sets of US coins. Dansco seems to be the most popular on this forum.

They are two different brands of coin albums/folders. Some people prefer Dansco(brown] and some prefer Whitman[blue] but they are pretty similar overall.

Aha, does anyone have a rough estimate of how much it would cost to fill any of these two? Thanks

Depends a lot on what type of coin you are collecting (Lincoln Cents, Morgan dollars, Buffalo nickels, etc...) and the minimum grade of coin you are looking for. Cost estimates to complete any album can vary wildly, especially if you are interested in a series with one or more rare key issues.

But doesn't a Dansco folder have every type of coin in it? or are there different folders for different sets of coins? can you explain further?

By cost to fill do you mean the coins? If so, that is going to vary widely depending on which type of coin the album is for and what condition you want them in.

ammar, There are many types of albums for every type of US and many other countries coins. There is a Type set album that has one each of every type of US coin.

Here is a place you can go and see some Dansco albums.
