Looks like a extreme locally filled die, or perhaps a restrike / overstrike of the date? I also see in the catalog that there is an Iron variation and a extremely rare Copper variation (which has known counterfeits). So maybe it has something to do with this, but I doubt it.

I think the "49" looks different because it was punched seperately into each die.

Thanks for the link DVC, I think I found the correct variation. It comes the most close to my coin I think. I didn't know there were so many variations of this coin

1mk 1949 VI: Tips are different lenght, H close to a handle of the sword. "4" re-engraved! (Holmasto VI, SNY 438.4)
