All markets are manipulated these days. Is silver the MOST manipulated? Maybe, but one thing's for sure, the end results of manipulation are not good.

Eventually market forces prevail and when they do it won't be pretty. Could take a few years, and might take many years, but manipulation and unlimited money printing don't make for a happy ending.

I don't think there's any doubt that oil is our winner in the most "manipulated" category. Thanks OPEC and supporting players.

Silver is probably a close second, though.

I think oil is the most manipulated market at the moment, to be honest.

Like BH said, all markets have their power players and insiders. When the government got into the stock market game, the manipulation went from covert to overt. The FED gave banks extremely low interest loans, which the banks used to bolster their stock value and buy out lesser competitors. Here's another example of the corruption of that particular system: Look how congressman can pass legislature that impacts the financial markets and sell this knowledge to special interest groups prior to passage of a law w/out breaching insider trading regulations. It's a travesty, and it proves that some of us are indeed second class citizens and others are above the law, or at least certain laws.
