To alleviate your disappointment, Landon, let me comment what I can.
"Looking for opinions on the grade ..." is not a question with which
I am comfortable.
"Looking for opinions ..." is a question that I can answer.
These designs of the mid-19th century grab my eye in certain areas. I always first look at the pole which Liberty holds in her left hand. The lower portion is always prone to be worn away early on.
This example shows a very nice pole.
Secondly, I look at the clasp on the right hand shoulder. This examples shows the "clasp" which is a round dot. Always a good sign.
Only them do I take a close look at the LIBERTY and lines on the shield. Again, nice. Not perfect, but very nice.
On the reverse, I always first look at the eagle's eye. It makes the statement, "Are you talking to me? Are you talking to ME?"
The eyeball and the socket show nicely.
To top it off, this example is 1876 and not 1875-S.
I won't put a number on this coin.
But if I were looking for one for a type set this coin has a lot going for it.
I did my best, nod2003.
