I acquired this large provincial coin I "think" may be a Nerva from Berytos, Phoenicia and I think may be BMC 82. The coin weighs 12.6g and is 24mm. Can anyone please help me verify this attribution? Thanks in advance

These older coins are not my strong point so wait for others but I would say you are correct, good spot JW.

I see the 'priest-founder, plowing with team of oxen' and the remains of the 'BER' up the LHS of the coin.

The size and weights are about right and I did a quick search and settled on BMC 82 also.

Thanks bobbyhelmet. It's good to see you on the forum. Yeah, these coins are not generally what I look for, but, hey, for $2 I couldn't pass it up, right? RIGHT?

I thought Augustus at first, but too much of a scowl I think. I also looked at Claudius, but it too wasn't quite right.
