That's a Roman Imperial, Probus emperor. Most Probus coins are very common, 2 out of ten on a rarity scale. Although, that reverse with the horse and rider is not real common but not too rare either. For a ebay market value, starting at around $45. Elsewhere, starting at about $20.

Very nice coin of the emperor Probus, in it's condition I would say $20 is a good price. RIC II #156, R wreath Delta (Rome mint).

There is tons of information available on the web about ancient coins. If you want to do some reading I recommend Doug Smiths site. It is outstanding and full of great information. Also Helvetica is a downloadable data base of most of the Roman emperors. Wildwinds and Acsearch are also excellent data bases for all types of ancient coins.
