Here is some interesting fact about the counterfieting of eruo coins. I wonder if the United Sates does the same thing with our coinage ?

MC, I would guess that the US Secret Service does keep these kind of statistics and then some. However, I would also presume it keeps such stats to themselves or present only a watered down version for public consumption since knowledge of such information could be used by counterfeiters to their own advantage, e.g., measurement of detection rates, speed of detection, and rates of success. This mostly would apply to big time counterfeiters rather than the average copy machine Joe.
