Hi everyone, I just got this coin in an uncleaned lot. And I was quite surprised to find this among the other coins in the lot. Sorry that my scans are quite poor (it is hard to scan something that is not really flat) and it has not been that thoroughly cleaned. But this looks a bit like a Phillip II of Macedon to me. Any thoughts?
Also, I forgot to mention that it is very thick (but not of even thickness) and that it is about 17mm in width. I unfortunately do not have my scale with me at this time though. I hope that this helps you guys given the fact that my pictures are a bit sub par.
echizento- Awesome! I am very glad to hear that (especially since this is now my oldest coin- and it is way older than coins in this uncleaned lot should have been).
Thanks for the help everyone! I don't think that cleaning will bring out a ton of detail, but I am pretty happy with the coin since I have wanted a Philip II for a while now.
