Does anyone have a list of all the coins minted so far for 2012
Everytime I look there is a new issue.

The Purple Penny's australian-threepence dot com blog website is good for lists. Also a combination of free subscriptions to both Downies "money" (available online) & M.R. Roberts "NUMI$NEWS" newsletters helps -- they're sure to keep you abreast of the latest releases.

However, the amount of different coins being produced by the RAM brings to mind something about golden eggs & the killing of geese. A few weeks ago I was at my local coin dealer's when another collector, on seeing the display of the latest releases said he didn't know half the coins existed -- there were just too many especially if the beauteous productions of the Perth Mint are included although I can't accept them as real coins. To me, they're more like medals even if they are attractive.

I restrict my acquisitions to circulation coins or those that could pass as such but even so, lately I've begun to feel that this subset is getting over crowded. If the RAM expands this over-production of types even further, I may have to restrict my collecting to only those coins that are actually released into circulation.
