Not really. MM's were hand punched through 1989 and stopped in 1990 so the placement can vary a little. Yours is within mint tolerances.

John1 -- do you know off-hand what the mint tolerances are? Just curious.

I would think if it's not touching Lincolns bust ,the rim or the date it's within tolerance but if there is an exact position that would be different.
