However, as I have been roll searching pennies I do come accross quite a few of coins in this type of condition. In fact tonight I ran across 5 1966-S and 4 1998-S coins, all in wonderful almost pristine condition. The other night I found a 1959 wheat back in extremely good condition. I set them aside for future reference. If you do do roll searching for pennies inevitably you will run accross coins in such conditions. I marvel at how they look and wonder why someone is getting rid of such wonderful coins. I also find pristine nickels from the '60's through today. Everytime I find pristine coins I do set them aside and hope that you do also. Someday they may have the makings of a wonderful conversation. Who knows? Anyway congratulations on your find John1 and I hope that you have many more such finds. Report this Post to the Staff
