Why is the 1944 quarter pictured as being in what I presume to be an NGC slab but no mention of the grade or TPG?

Biokemist6, I acumulated some slab inserts (primarily NGC) to hold the coins to take images of what few RAW coins I have for sale. Perhaps I should place that disclaimer in the description.

I was thinking the same thing when I went to your ebay auctions to have a look see. I knew you had acquired inserts from a past post and figured that was the case with your '44 quarter as it was not mentioned as NCG slabbed. Most of the people surfing the bay do not know this and I would hate to see you end up with a neg or return.

Note added to the auction;
"Please note that this coin is NOT in an NGC Slab! I used an existing slab insert to hold the coin for the images provided. My apologies for any misrepresentation. Thank you for your interest!" Thanks for the feedback!

Ah yes, now I remember you posting about that Definitely a good idea for holding a coin for photography but I agree with Dave that a disclaimer is needed as an attempt to avoid any confusion.

As the song goes "she used to be mine" or "there goes my girl" or "It's a heartache".

I just wanted to say thanks for the suggestions and exposure. This set has done quite a bit better than last time.

Just curious...did anybody ask why it was up for sale again and how did you respond? I'd be a bit surprised if nobody asked, but even if nobody did, how would you have replied? As a buyer, I would have asked just to see the response. I've always wondered how situations like this arise. Now I know one way.

No questions have been asked (on ebay), other than biokemist6 earlier one above. Maybe it's a different crowd of bidders?

Well, that's good for you and kind of interesting. Up at least $106 and not done yet. Auctions are unpredictable animals, that's for sure.

I got by with a little help from my CCF friends! All have been delivered (except one who has not paid yet) according to USPS Tracking.
