Hi Everyone,

I was looking to buy a set of the 1992 silver province quarters. I know pricing depends on the quality, but as a ballpark, can anyone offer me a price to expect? I've only found one set on ebay for around 140. Or if someone could point me to where I can look up the value, I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks!

There is a 13 piece set including the 1$ on ebay now with a BIN price of $94.99 (plus 10 for shipping). There is also a regular auction with a starting price of $99.99 and a BIN for the same price. All 3 listings are dealers and the set is Stirling silver so taxes apply.

The value seems to be somewhere in the $95-100 range at best.

Incidentally, that is less than the $129.45 issue price.

PS - there was also a sale in the past two weeks for just $73.56 plus 12.95 shipping and a few in the $80-100 range before shipping.

I got mine off ebay for $100 including taxes and shipping back in Jan 2012. Be patient and wait for an auction :-).

Unfortunately I'm a compulsive buyer and I had bought a set for 120 earlier tax and shipping inclusive; I should've asked first before buying. There's comfort knowing I was about to buy the 140+tax+shipping at first, so I guess I saved a few dollars. A deal none the less; guess I'll be packing lunch for an extra day next week! Thanks CC-Ottawa and kuh_85! I really need to work on patience - a gift I never had...

Know what you mean sokkos. Patience is easier preached than practiced. I've impulse bought a couple of things, but I have no regrets.
