Okay folks, just wanted to give one last update on CoinFest. I am preparing the final promotional materials and updates on the website. I will be updating the website this coming week to reflect those of you who have made donations of coins and cash. If you have not provided how you wish to be listed on the website, your name will be listed. If you do not wish to be listed as a supporter, please let me know prior to Monday May 23rd.
Now to the update.
There will be two TV stations providing coverage of the event.
The local rock station will also be in attendance.
The
ANA has listed the event for the YN program.
There will be coverage articles in 4 newspapers.
I am still working with a few last minute sponsers, but hopefully this week will see their involvement. There are a total of 20 local and national businesses that are supporting the event. This undertaking has not been easy, but I believe that every minute and dollar will be worth it. We are estimating an attendance of 1000 people.
Our goal of 400,000 coins is coming into view.
To those who have supported the event, please drop me an email with your correct mailing address and T-Shirt size. I am purchasing video coverage of the event that will be shipped to each supporter along with a CoinFest 2005 T-Shirt.
To those of you that have contributed, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This event would not be possible without the support and effort that you have provided. I know that when the children show up and see the monster pile of coins, that they will know that there are people who care about them.
