I was wondering what you all store your roll find keeper coins in ? I'm not sure if putting them in rolls is better or maybe 2x2 holders

I do both. Error's or "unique" coins go into flips & the rest that we are saving go in tubes.

I do plastic tubes, but for the "percieved" good coins I find I put them in the hard plastic 2x2's.

Here is what I do. When I find a coin that is worth more then $20 it goes into a hard 2x2. If it's worth less then $20 it goes into a cardboard staple type 2x2. I have some finds that are easy to find,so many that I put them in plastic rolls like the bar on column variety and the wavy step variety. I also save all the 1982 LMC SM dates and put them in paper rolls as well as any above average condition cents.

i started to store all my "S" LMC.. I eventually got so many that I decided to just keep 68-70. I thought they might be worth more some day, lower mintage's and all. I just put them in my copper box and sell on ebay.

i think I got about 5 rolls of each now

I've found that various prescription pill bottles are almost made for certain coins. Other than the fact that they are free (if you or family and friends have them), they are better for storage than paper rolls. They are air tight and there is enough extra room in the bottles that you can slip a piece of paper or tissue between the coins to prevent contact marks. you can pack it with tissue to prevent movement of the bottle is too big. The bottle also provides protection from things banging in to it, unlike 2x2's. In my opinion, they are THE BEST, multi-storage container for lower value coins when the objective is to maintain the current condition. Yes, even better than the plastic containers made to perfectly fit specific coins.
