chuckster 125 Pillar of the Community United States 4113 Posts	Posted 04/22/2012 2:50 pm From your pics, especially the last one, the coin looks like it could be the 1972S-DDO-MD found on pg 156- Authoritative Ref on Eisenhower dollars Wexler/Crawford/Flynn Second Edition 2007. The doubling is from the master die and is extremely common and unfortunately does not carry any premium. I'd still wait to see what other's might have to say on it as the split on the RU of Trust looks deeper on your coin than the one's shown on PG156. The three 1972 varieties only apply to the Philadelphia minted coins. All 1972-S Dollars should have the Variety 2 reverse.
