First let me say welcome and I hope you stick around. This is a good forum with knowledgeable and helpful people.
The images of the coins don't help much in determining attribution and value. Some of the coins look Arabic, some Byzantine, and some Roman. I can't speak from a position of knowledge on anything other than the Roman coins. From what I can see, they don't appear to be anything of particular value and the condition of the Roman coins at least are not that good. A couple of the large Byzantine coins look to be in fair condition and are probably fully attributable. Without better images, IMHO, I would not spend very much on these coins. Depending on what the seller is asking, I would think you could do better by buying these coins elsewhere individually. Hopefully others will chime in with their opinions. Good luck
Regards,

thanks jwharper, they are currently sitting at less than a dollar! admittedly there is a week left on the auction but hardly any views and only 1 bid.. I think I might go up to $15 dollars for the lot after learning that they are not really worth much.. I like the larger byzantine ones though.. might be worth the amount just for those coins.

I see 26 coins ranging from about $5 to perhaps $30. I might say $150 if you wanted those coins but agree that I'd rather have $150 in coins I selected with a bit more variety and quality. At $75 the lot would look better but I doubt any dealers would go that high unless they are seeing a sleeper in there that I'm missing. Of course this is a US opinion and I really don't know anything about the market in your country. I see nothing in the photos that make me suspicious of the coins' authenticity and suspect it is a group formed years ago from junk boxes rather than careful selections from dealer stock.

You can't go wrong spending $15 for the entire lot. Although, I bet the price goes up up up towards the end of the auction. The way it usually goes. There are a lot of coins there that you could learn from, and attribute.

If you where to get this lot for $15, that would be a good deal. But as Gil-galad said towards the end of the auction the price will go up. If I were bidding on it I would set my limit up to $100.

there is a lot of demand here for british and german coins and obviously most coin purchases online here are Nelson Mandela coins and gold kruger rands... not a lot of people buy ancients down here, however when they DO buy, the prices are more or less equivalent to ebay prices.. the market is flooded with 17th and 18th century shipwreck finds especially dutch east india company coins and people buy those over ancient roman coins.. so I might get it quite cheaply. Will keep you guys posted on how it all turns out :)

R-Dawkins! If you buy them these folks will help attribute them for you. Especially the Romans. Good luck!

$150 max., if they are all attributable. That is about $6 per coin. On a per coin basis, that is still cheap. I feel that the buyer will almost certainly pay more than $150.
Depends how much you want them yourself.
