hello could anyone tell me how rare a 1951 proof five shilling/crown doubled side incuse lettering is ?

The Festival Crowns all had a legend around the edge; it was always incuse; but I'm not sure what you mean by "doubled", so ...

you know the lincon cent has a double die which means you can see double lettering its the same on my 1951 proof crown I will try get some pictures on here for you to see

why are you not able to zoom in on an image ?

Zooming in on a 12kb picture will only make it pixelated, the photo file needs to be much larger to see the detail. You can upload a max of 100kb directly to the forum or you can embed an image from Photobucket or another photo hosting service. What I can tell you is that this is not comparable to a doubled die which would be created by an entirely separate process.

Nobody will have a clue until you can post a larger picture. Until then, any guess is pure speculation.

ok thanks I have worked out a way to get a better picture on here I'm just waiting for the batteries to charge on my camera then I will upload the pictures
