Looks like it might be a 5th century Roman Imperial. If you could take a photo minus the match stick, and much closer. I ain't sure but it also looks like I can see letters on the obverse. More light would help as well.

That coin might be around 10-12mm, perhaps.

More information might help. Such as where this coin was found and any other details. It looks like it had a silver wash. The style does seem to be in the 5th century. It could even be a barb.

i found it in uncleaned lot that I have purchased few months ago. Soaked in olive oil till today and outcome didn't pleased me :( many of them turned to be junk(this one is worn as well).
but this coin is the most interesting as I have never seen so small and I believe that is very hard to find coins in that size when metal detecting.
i would appreciate any help with ID :)

Where did this uncleaned lot come from? What country? If you don't know, you might want to ask the seller. Although, I doubt that a 100% ID will be made for this coin. Just how it is with these 5th century coins. Assuming that it is from that century.

Not sure about the reverse, but it could be a monogram. Try turning the coin around, while looking at it and see what you can see.

I've been comparing various late Roman emperors, and the style is similar but no match so far. I don't even know how these people attributed those coins, honestly.

The portrait is crude IMHO and resembles that found on Gallic or Celtic coins. I have an Gallic/Itallian coin minted by Octavian that is much larger (30mm) with a similar portrait of Octavian on the obverse and Julius Caesar on the reverse. I'm not saying this coin is an Octavian, just that the portrait style is not typical of Roman Imperial coins.

The reverse looks like it could be a ships prow and from the obv image it looks like a barbarous radiate.
