Hi all, I have a Netherlands coin from 1803 that I am trying to find the value of. It's about the size of a US half dollar coin, has the image of a lion and a crown on one side and an image of a soldier with sword resting on his shoulder on the other side. The lion side of the coin has the words "Concordia Res parvae cres" and the soldier side has the words "mo:no:arg:pro:confoe:belg:trai". If anyone has any idea what this coin is worth or if anyone can tell me more about it I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

What you have is a 2-1/2 Gulden. They range in value from $65 to about $300 depending on condition

It is made of silver

Thank you for the info. It is in "very fine" condition. Would there be a way I could find out exactly how much this particular coin is worth? Other than going and getting it appraised? And when you say $65-$300 are you talking retail or wholesale? Thanksgiving again for your help.
