haha, I dont remember how much I paid for these but I'm sure it was much much more than spot price. nonetheless it wasn't too much, I just thought these looked really interesting.

edit

just looked at my ebay archive, not too bad at all from what I thought I paid.

for the 10oz - $4.98
2x 1oz = $0.89
5oz brass = $7.98 (this one was pricey)

I was eating at cracker barrel the other night, an during my normal stroll through the gift shop I notice these coaster size replica coins of an old Indian penny, 1909 Penny VSB, and the gold double eagle design. Did not say what the metal was on the sticker on the back, just made in Lebanon T.N., where the home office of cracker barrel is located, an the town where it all started. They were made of what looked like copper or bronze and they were priced at 3.99 each, lol....

I scratched my chin an said to myself...."Wonder how much I can get for these on ebay?", lol....

I do enjoy gazing at all the cool antique type items (stuff Mike an Frank would love to buy), old Kerns bread signs an oil cans an such, an all the old farm tools an stuff they have on display in their stores. They actually send pickers out to find all those authentic items for their stores, an surprised they don't put price tags on them.....

I always look at those old pictures of the family's from then knowing they have all long since past with great fascination and drive my girl friend nuts pointing out every little tid bit I spot on their shelves or walls.....
