Hello everyone,
Just wonder if anyone sold or bought a 2009 silver summer moon mask in recent. Would love to hear your advice on how much one should expect to pay/get paid. I really love the design of this coin and I was too broke to purchase one back then.
Thanks!

Since the dealers sold out the price popped. I paid $128.78 total including shipping on 01 Feb 2012 on ebay; almost double what J&M was selling them for before they sold out.

@kuh_85, I think this is one of the best looking coin RCM has ever made. I'm debating whether I should try to buy one now or wait a bit more. Thanks a lot for the information! Really appreciate it. :)

@Koin Hunter, I thought the mintage was 10,000, at least that's what the RCM website says. I WANT ONE!! Haha!

That was the projected mintage....at the time it didn't sell well...but has gained popularity since...sometimes the coins that don't grab the public attention right away...prove to be the smarter buys for the future..

@agrentier, O_o Where/how did you get this kind of information? Are you an ebay coin trading transaction tracking robot?

@Koin Hunter, 20 bids on it already. People really want this one badly. Have plans to go out for tomorrow already, I hope I can get home early enough to try.

Let's say I'm a computer programmer who programmed some usefull tools to never pay something too high and also see how crazy some items sells well... ;) Someday I'll build a website so everybody can use it.

@agrenier, envy your mad skills! I only get to do a lot of visual programming these days, writing logic at the very minimum. It's making me rusty. Kind of itchy for some real coding.

@tocoins: ebay allows you to search completed auction listings to determine actual selling prices vs. original listed price -- click on the Advanced Search link to see this and other search options. The Completed Listing feature will return coin auctions that meet your search criteria that closed within the previous 60 days. Run the search every other month and you can fairly quickly build a database of selling prices for the coins in which you are interested. Hope that helps!
