This was found in a large batch of uncleaned ancients. I bought what I thought was uncleaned Roman coins. They have been soaking in olive oil for approx. 1 month.

Took them out today and washed them and low baked them. Been going through to see which ones I will attempt to attribute first. I have already found a Bulgaria 1913 5 stotinki coin and this thing.

Found-In-My-Uncleaned-Ancients........

Can anyone identify this for me?

I think this could be an old button because the back has a sharp point on it in the center. There is writing around the perimeter of the back but I can only make out a letter here and there.

The front has a man on horseback with what looks to be a bobcat or kitten under them. It has a number 814 (could be 819 with the 9 being weird looking)and some letters in the upper left (looks like ?YMB).

Would appreciate any help you can give me.

I am too scared to harshly clean this thing until I have idea of what it is and how old it is.

Thanks for any help!

Thank you so much Svslav!! That sure is the front of it. I am going to have to use some drastic measures to clean the back now........ it does not look like your pictures...yet!! LOL I wonder what that point sticking out of the back is.

Will update this once I get it cleaned better....... thanks! MUAH!!
